The workspace
Start with what you know.
Use a short nickname for each provider. Do not enter ID numbers, account numbers, passwords or full policy numbers. Keep documents somewhere safe, not here.
Local, not locked. Records are saved in this browser's localStorage, unencrypted. Other people using this browser may see them. Use a private device. Private browsing, clearing site data or switching devices can remove your records. Download a copy if you need one. This is not a secure evidence vault. Existing records from the original South Africa version remain South Africa / ZAR. No currency conversion is performed.
South Africa: existing bank, insurance, employer payroll and airtime guidance. Amounts are ZAR.
Choose where the payment and provider belong, not your current location. This version supports only the listed countries and currencies. Cross-border disputes may need different advice. Changing packs clears unfinished form entries after confirmation; saved records keep their own country and currency. Draft text is kept for your review.
01
Permission ledger
Record the terms you believe you agreed to.
To correct a saved entry, remove it and add the corrected version. Removing a permission unlinks its deductions.
02
Deduction check
Add what you see on your statement or payslip.
A review prompt, not a verdict. This checks your entries, not a bank feed or legal mandate. Variable amounts, collection dates and changes to an agreement can explain differences. Ask the provider or payroll team to explain the authority and terms. A match does not prove authorisation. We do not detect duplicate billing or calculate a refund.
03
Your next question, in writing.
Choose "Prepare a query" on a saved deduction. Review every line before using it.
Nothing is sent from this tool. The draft will appear here.
Add personal details only in the provider's official, secure channel. The draft is not saved when you leave. Copying or downloading may leave a copy on your device or clipboard.
Know where to go
The right question. The right route.

01 / BANK
Start with your bank.
Ask your bank to identify an unfamiliar debit order and explain the mandate. Contact the collecting company too. Ask the bank about its dispute process, time limits and what a reversal or stop would mean.
Ask the bank and collecting company what a stop or reversal would change, including any continuing obligations. This tool cannot determine those consequences.
Write to the insurer or intermediary. Ask for the application, sales record and authority relied on. Request an investigation and a refund if deductions were not authorised. Do not present uncertainty as proven fraud.
FAIS Ombud considers complaints about financial advice and intermediary services within its jurisdiction. NFO may handle qualifying insurance-service disputes. Complain to the provider first and check which office can help.
Send a factual query to your own employer's HR or salary-administration team using a trusted internal channel. Ask what the deduction code means, who receives the money and what authority supports it.
Use your employer or department's own process. This tool cannot determine whether a payroll deduction is lawful or requires your consent. Ask payroll to identify and explain its basis.
Use a verified contact from your own employer.
04 / AIRTIME
Identify the charge first.
Ask your mobile operator for the service name, billing company, dates and cancellation options. Disappearing airtime can also be data usage or other charges, not a subscription.
For unwanted WASP billing, WASPA's form can help with services offered by its members. General billing issues go to your operator. A formal Code of Conduct complaint uses a different WASPA process.
Coverage is limited to the selected pack. UK and Australia packs do not cover insurance advice/cover disputes, payroll, mobile billing or all cross-border disputes. A payment query about an insurance premium is not an insurance-policy complaint. Stopping a payment may not end a contract or debt and may affect fees, service or cover. Check before acting. No route here guarantees acceptance or a refund.

What this tool does
Manually entered records stay in localStorage on this browser. Comparisons and drafts are generated here. There is no bank connection, upload endpoint, account or analytics script. We cannot see, recover or delete your local records for you.
What still leaves your device
Loading the site sends ordinary web requests to Cloudflare, our hosting provider. The host may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs. We do not promise zero hosting logs. Opening official links takes you to their sites and privacy rules.
Use nicknames and short evidence reminders only. Keep payslips, bank statements and consent records in a safe place outside this tool. Downloaded records are plain text, not encrypted. Clear local records before sharing your browser.
